Art Direction for Royal Hawaiian Center

I collaborated with BOLD LA as the lead website strategist & art director on the refresh and launch of the new Royal Hawaiian Center website. The goal was to create an accessible website to explore shopping, dining and discover bespoke Hawaiian cultural experiences and events on the beachside shopping center in Waikiki. The website's content and design reflected the Hawaiian voice, in line with Royal Hawaiian Center’s Cultural Affairs Department and ADA compliance.

The new website increased website traffic consistently over two years. The updated look and feel website brings the company’s vision to life: a luxury shopping destination with the unique family-friendly events in Waikiki, showcasing brands as well as the Hawaiian culture. With the new CMS, content editors have immediate access and increased formatting capabilities. The website design includes all Hawaiian diacritical markings and supports Chinese, Korean and Japanese translations.
